Makyo System Outline

Makyo(Chinese Magic Mirror) is a type of bronze mirror that was handed down from mainland China in the mid-Yayoi period.  Initially, this bronze mirror has been used as a religious ceremony decoration. The front is a shiny polished surface and could be used as a mirror, while the back has a design cast in the bronze. When bright sunlight or other bright light reflects onto the mirror, the mirror seems to become transparent. If that light is reflected from the mirror towards a wall, the pattern on the back of the mirror is then projected onto the wall.
With this principle,  it is possible to observe and emphasizes the invisible irregularities  on the wafer surface.

Principle

Parallel Light  is irradiated to  mirror processed sample surface and the reflected light is shown on the virtual screen.Gray Image is shown on the screen by the unevenness of the surface.
